Doesburgsche spicy mustard


The delicately spicy Doesburg Mustard, best known in the region for its slightly fuller flavor, is seasoned with turmeric, among other ingredients, giving it a yellower color than basic mustard. It is delicious in colder dishes, as a base for dressings, with young cheese, with bitterballen, or with stew.

Finely spiced Doesburg mustard is a slightly less well-known type of mustard from the Dutch city of Doesburg, produced since 1902 using the same traditional method. The mustard seeds are soaked in a mixture of natural vinegar and a special blend of herbs, resulting in a unique flavor and character. The mustard is loved worldwide for its natural and pure taste, without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. In addition to the finely spiced mustard, the factory also produces a basic mustard and sweet mustard sauce. The production process of this mustard makes it a special and unique product that is definitely worth tasting.
